Default 1.6 injectors on my 1.5 crx dx affecting gas mileage?

i recently did an si conversion on my 88 crx dx with the full harness, ecu, intake manifold, and fuel injectors. I was wondering how much 1.6 injectors would hurt my gas mileage since they are only feeding a 1.5. It has the stock D15B2 with 230000 miles and it is a 5 speed. The only code it will throw is for the O2 and for the throttle position sensor. The blinks on the ecu go 1 1 7 and on and on. It only happens when i am going steady paced for awhile. When i shut off the car and restart it the code is gone until it pops up again. Does anybody have an idea what would cause this?
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure even the multiport D15 injectors flow the same as the D16 injectors. I'm assuming you wired the injector resistor in.

most people who do a simple dpfi to mpfi swap onto a d15b2 engine report improved gas mileage... not worse.

mpfi gets better mileage than a dpfi. Something is wrong.

you say you used the full si harness??? I thought that an si harness doesn't connect up to a dx car. The only way is to cut the needed connectors off the si harness and splice them into the dx harness.

no you have to use the full engine harness as well as the dash harness because the cluster connects differently so you also need a different gauge cluster. But other than that the harness works great.

Wow, that sounds like a hell lot of work to avoid adding 6 wires.

That is a new one on me.

Look at the FAQ
It will tell you where to check.

Just be prepared to get pissed.
It will show you how much extra work you did on your swap

and yes mpfi should improve your mileage.
