does anyone know how to get the sidemolding of the car to have that red stripe in the middle of the molding... ?

 

yup, ill sell u the secret!

just playing. go to advance or whatever and buy their rolls of pinstripe tape. clean well and stick on using extreme care. pretty simple but also pretty simple to screw up. just take ur time!

 

I believe it was 88-89 that had a recessed area in the middle of the molding. I don't think it came painted, just a recessed area. You paint it yoruself.

On a crx???? Maybe a civic...

 

a cheap and easy way to do it is to buy a roll of pinstripe from pep boys or autozone and apply it yourself, but that would only work on the 88-89 USDM ef of course. now the more costly and difficult way is to try to find a JDM supplier who can import the moldings for you, finding mint moldings that are 19 years old is another question.. I work for a jdm supplier, our shops url is in my sig.. but clean JDM ef parts are so hard to find. good luck!

we get a new shipment in 3 weeks, then my boss is flying out to japan, i have an ef also, so ill tell him to be on the lookout for a couple shells and see what we can grab off of it.. hell call me when hes there, and ill pm u if anything
