Default JDM Sidemarkers

I just JDM sidemarkers. I have a problem, i thought it was just as easy as making a hole and wiring them. It looks as if though I need a template. Do I? Has anyone done them before? Let me know...

Hey there is a diy post about sidemarkers somewhere, just check the faq page. It should explain this, but I haven't read it yet.

I've cut, wired and installed like 3 sets on 96-00 civics. For placement marka straight up line from the back of your inner fender. and a horizontal line from the top crest of the fender line. this is the middle of where they lay out. next find a template or make one. With some precise measuring you can make your own and they'll actually fit better. Just make sure to make a small gap for the compression pin that hold them tight. Mask off your entire fender area with masking or painters tape and use a dremel to cut the hole. Just take your time and it's all good. Make sure to file and prime the cut afterwards to keep from rusting.

i had them on my EM1... make sure you cut the shape with a dremel, a "metal nibbler" leaves a wavy ghey pattern from how it pinches the metal...

This is for EK - if you use the template above (which is for EG markers) you will have holes you cant use

That's what the clickable diagrams are for. The diagrams show the measurements to fractions of a millimeter. Just read through the directions and click on the little diagrams to the right. Im just sayin this is what I used, and it's measurements worked out pretty well. Then all you have to do is mock up your template and take it to a professional. (sorry, couldn't trust myself to chomp into my fender)
Here's what mine looked like, and I like it. Excuse the angle.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. What year are you looking for? because the measurements will probably be different, and I'm wasting my time if this is for an EK, lol
