Default NOT TECH RELATED.... Going to court tomorrow for 2nd DUI.........

I understand this thread is not tech related, but I wanted to post it for a larger audience to view.
I recently got a 2nd DUI (last one was 2.5 years ago) and my court date is set for tomorrow. I know some of you are going to flame me, but this happened by complete chance and literally 10 sec. from my driveway. I understand the potential dangers involved with drunk driving and I have taken a personal vow to drink only once a week and never under any circumstance drive even the slightest bit while intoxicated, or close to it. I am only looking serious responses in regard to this matter. I am 23, have no attorney, and live in CA. What do you think will happen???????????

an attorney will only take my money and prolong the process. I just want to know what will most likely happen. Anyone here that can speak from experience?

Why don't you post this up in GDD where it belongs? You will get more responces there.

Then you should just rely on GDD and not make the same post all over the damn place. Besides as you stated in your title this is "NOT TECH RELATED"

get an attorney. what ever u do dont plead guilty!!!! lol make them have to prove that ****. every time i had to go to my meetings for house arrest there was always a guy there. he has his third DUI> and had to do house arrest and blow into a machine and ****.

worst case .. you'll get a some jail time and your licence suspended.

best case.. you get house arrest for a couple months get a slap on the wrist and own you wtih some fines.

I would plead no contest to a Alcohol related wreakless driving..
a lawyer wont get you any better..
either way I will tell you the same thing I told my friend on his second DUI..

STOP BEING A DUMBASS AND DRIVING THE LEAST BIT UNDER THE INFLUANCE..

when you lose your DL, got any good DB8 or DC2 parts you want to sell to buy a bus pass or bike?

DO NOT GET AN ATTORNEY!!!!! they can not help you in a case like this. My cousin just went to court for his 2nd and all he got was a fine, he had to go to those classes again and he has some work release(not very much) and in his case he hit a Car totaled his car and ran from the scene. Plead not guilty and the next time you go to court take the deal the DA gives you(unless you feel daring and wanna hope the cop dont show).
O yeah and as I hope you realize.............STOP DRINKING AND DRIVING.......
but I had to learn the hard way too.Good luck, and drive safe

P.S. Your license will be suspended for a little while, but all in all for some reason in CA your 2nd DUI seams easier than your first.
