my driver side door handle is very loose and when i open the door from the instide, the handle flips up on the outside...any fixes or must i buy a new handele?

 

take off the door panel and poke around inside... to see what's up

 

The attachement point on the door handle for the spring most likely is broken. It's plastic. I've experienced this in both my doors. Functionality of the door is not diminished, though. So it's really up to you if you want to get it fixed. You need to get the whole handle assembly in the color of your car. It's about $50-60. Installation is not difficult, but it can be tedious.
