Is there a difference in Steering Column shrouds

Is there a difference in Steering Column shrouds
Ive got a 01 that ive swapped the interior from tan to black...but the shroud isnt fitting around the instruments(wiper switch and turns switch) on the steering column. The interior is from a 97. Is there any difference??
