**1998.5 Contour SVT, Chicago - Not running, $3,000 obo
Something in my motor crapped out, I have a feeling it's a spun rod bearing or something, motor won't turn over. I was going to swap something in when it gets warm but don't feel like doing all the work and would rather take the loss and sell it as is.
'98.5 E1 Contour SVT - silver, blue (dark blue/black) interior. 77k miles, clean title. All stock except alpine headunit, kenwood amp, rear deck mounted 8" sub and polk speakers, and BAT intake. I also put in eDead throughout the whole car (all door panels, rear deck, and the whole interior) - makes for a very quiet ride, and completely unnoticeable. Interior condition is great, exterior has usual scrapes around the bottom of the bumpers, and a key scratch across the passenger side (damn ex). No rust, nothing else wrong. New brakes, fairly new tires (Falken Ziex 512's), new master cylinder, new alternator and serpentine belt installed, freshly aligned from NTB, new battery.
Please note that I am not willing to part it out as I do not have time, energy, and space to do this, so don't ask for individual parts.
Asking price: $3,000 obo. Located in the north suburbs of Chicago, and please note The motor died, I believe it has a spun bearing from the noises it was making before it died, so it will need to be towed to its new home.

KEVIN! Dude...I thought you died...as well as Koala Yummies, that kid is never online anymore. Does he still have his Type R, last time I talked to him was like Decemeber and he said he was going to sell it...anyways.
I remember seeing this car in 04 as well. Numerous times. At meets and at Scotts house. Did you ever end up getting another Honda or have you just been driving the SVT for the longest time?

lol Long time no talk.. I dunno what Scott's been up to, I haven't heard from him in awhile either. I think he still has the '97 R, but maybe not anymore. I never bought a honda, and unless I decide to pick up an '07 civic hybrid, I don't think I'll be buying one...
I think I may just do a motor swap on this and keep it, I'd say it's probably a smarter thing to keep the money and drive an svt, eh?
