where do i run the cable through? i have a eh and it came with no hood cable. i got one recently but i dont know where it runs through. can someone please help? i would like to install it today

 

You need to take the left fender and bumper cover off the car, and look at the one thats there now. Once they are off, its pretty obvious how its run. If there is not one alreayd on the car, then go buy yourself a manual from pep boys or autozone or whatever, & read up.
Just pay attention to how its run especially where it comes out of the fenderwell, and under the radiator support by the headlight. Its kinda tricky.
