He's asking because the op is the same person that posted in a "i got a ticket in california" thread where everyone is saying to shave the block and restamp it because the REF won't notice. That would be my assumption. Probably looking for means to justify backing up the response of shave the stamp to get out of a fine and pass BAR

So, in other words:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Azn Kenny &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Sounds shady...</TD></TR></TABLE>

OP, if that's your plan, I'd seriously suggest rethinking it.

He was just one of the people to chime in, in the thread. Long story short, guy with a b20 got rolled and needs to ref so hes looking to fool the ref by shaving off the stamp. I told everyone in there that no matter what you do you can't possibly make the fresh stamped portion of the block look like the worn portion. The ref will know.

But yeah, pretty much shady.

Indeed, and then you'll have much bigger issues to contend with.
