Default To the few of you who have h23 vtec's...

Alright i know they are rare as hell, but i got cut a good price on an h23 vtec, the accord sir wagon ones. Not an h22 head on an h23 bottom end. My question is to those of you with h23 vtec's, do stock h22 parts work for those things? Cause for the most part arent the h23 vtec's just h22 heads with h23 bottom, but just came from the factory that way?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Dr. ***** &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">My question is to those of you with h23 vtec's, do stock h22 parts work for those things? </TD></TR></TABLE>

If I remember correctly, the only difference is the additional stroke to make it a 2.3L (95mm vs 90mm on an H22a).

So yes, everything external should bolt up fine.

Would work if you convert it to OBD1.
