Default 9KM Hillclimb in my H22a EF civic

Went to this 9km hillclimb on sunday just been. Had an awesomw day with great weather and a simply amazing road!!! Had a passenger with me - but no pace notes. This was my third run of the day and my best time of 5:20.3 I came 8th out of a mixed field of 44 cars.

WOW!!! At over 5 mins. that was more like a tarmac rally stage than a hillclimb!

There are events like this in PA if you are willing to travel, tpod.

The courses may be more like 1 to 2 minutes but equally fun and challenging.

Looks like fun but your hills are small.

I saw like 6 workers along that whole course! Wouldn't happen here like that.

I love hill climbs, targas, mille's, pan america's etc... true race in my mind, man versus road. Road course were built for safety, to control the enviroment and to make money. There is a new pan america style race coming up that I may try to participate in...

The hill wasn't small - believe me. You could see for miles coming back down the hill.
Oh, and there were check points every 1km (i think) and photographers hiding every where. Only one car ended up crashing (and doing damage).

We got one recky run - all following each other up at normal speed. Then Three timed runs. My first run was a 5:33.??, second run was 5:25.?? and the last run was 5:20.03.

You beat me to it. You can always head north to Wisconsin if you wanna see any hills. We got plenty of them up here.

I think you did a great job driving...particularly w/o notes! I can barely remember a 2 minute road course let alone a 5 minute hill climb.

Couple of notes:
- no driving gloves?
- what the hell was the passenger doing?
- that sound is addicting!
