EDIT::::
I now know the difference between bumpers. Can anyone tell me the body code for the 96-98 and the 99-00. Or can anyone just post the link to their official pic thread
Thanks
You guys might hate me for this one. I used to hate civics, but now I think I might end up getting one due to finnancial problems. The body im trying to get is from 96-00 I belive. Now I have never really noticed that there are different front bumpers, and I seem to be getting very confused.

Now this is the bumper that i want.
Now Will be able to put the foglights in the bottom corners of the bumper.
Also what lip is that?
Thanks

Two styles: (not just the bumper: fenders, headlights, and hood are all different)
96-98 and 99-00.
That one is 99-00.
The lip is a stock OEM Si lip.
All of the 99-00 bumpers need to be cut for the OEM fogs to fit.

Could you still use 98 headlights on a 99
COuld you mix match any of the parts or no? Do they all have to be from one certain model ie. 96-98 99-00?

That is not a OEM Si lip. It's a Civic Type R lip and to be honest you cant tell if the lip is OEM or aftermarket from far unless you have x-ray vision
Also, you can use 96-98 headlights on a 99-00 front end but the mods arent worth it and it looks

If you're looking to swap a obd1-obd2 Ls into a 96-00 civic you will need the following:
-Rear bracket from a 99-00 Si
-Engine bracket from a 99-00 Si
-Any b-series lower tranny bracket
-Any b-series shift linkage
-The cars engine harness
-Ls ecu
I think thats it
Im falling asleep...

The Car itself was running with obd2
The motor I have waiting to put in (ls) is ob2
I would like to make the car run obd1 with the ls motor
In total A civic with an LS swap running obd1
What do I need to run that
Thanks

I dont know about the part numbers but the lips do not look the same, theres a difference.
Also, if you're looking to run an obd1 ecu on your obd2 engine you just need to buy a jumper harness to do this conversion

Don't listen to this guy. Spewing false info. The civic type R and civic si lips are arguably the same. Some say they are slightly different, but I truely can't see it. And if you wanted to put a 99-00 bumper on a 96-98 civic, you would need the whole front end. The headlights or bumper can't just simply swap over like this guy stated. The bumper, headlights, hood, and fenders all have to be swapped over for it to fit.

The 99-00 Civic has different fenders, hood, grill & bumper than the 96-98 due to
the headlights being a different shape...
99-00 Si lip is the same as the Type R lip. The aftermarket lip in the OP's original
pic looks a lot better IMO.
The 96-98 front lip is really big and really does wonders for the 96-98 front end.
If you cannot get the 99-00 Civic hatchback, then the 96-98 (single grill bumper)
can be made to look quite sporty...

Nobody will back you up .... you're wrong.
The 99-00 EM1 Civic Si lip is the same exact part # (when unpainted) as the 99-00 EK9 Civic Type R lip.
