Thank you Nopi for moving the drift event in Chicago...
..to the SAME WEEKEND AS THE NHRA RACE IN INDY. I'd like to shake the hand of the genius that thought this was a good idea.

Not 2 drag events but i'm sure it'll have some effect on spectator counts. We have nothing all summer, couldn't you pick a weekend we didn't have another major series in the area?

Busy weekend. Most of the Chi-town and Indiana DSM people will be in Norwalk for the DSM Shootout on the 19th.

From the discussions I have seen on local boards I think that most of the quick Indy DSMs will stay here for NHRA. Honestly I would have expected you guys to show up at THE race.
It isn't just NHRA that the other events are trying to draw people from. ITB was already one of the largest events in the country...NHRA just adds to the show.

Well, i know of 4 people that would of been going on the original date but all of us are going to be in Indy.
