Recaro manufactures seats for many auto makers - it's quite possible they are manufactured by Recaro. Do you have proof that they aren't?

I believe the USDM and CDM seats are contract manufactured by Recaro for Honda.

As you should. I highly doubt any of those 16 links will provide information as to who the actual manufacturer of CA market ITR seats is.

When people mentioned the seat skins, they referred to buying the outer fabric itself and replacing your current fabric yourself. Haven't heard of anyone offering this service. The skins are part numbers, must be bought in numerous sections, and are expensive may I add.

Recaro probably made the skins, but not the seats themselves.

sometimes i can't help but think that people claim their OEM seats are made by Recaro (like EP3 guys) to make themselves feel better

i want to see proof that they're made by Recaro. tags, a serial numbers, stamps, logos, documentation from Honda/Recaro. anything.

Thats alot just for the skins. With that much money I thought the dealership might be nice enough to install it for you. Oh well...is reskinning the seats an easy process?

So basically you're asking this question so you can make a forsale post stating that you have Canadian Red Recaro seats.
