I have a 98 H22A4 in my 97 Accord....both obd2. When I smog, I use my stock LX computer....passes with flying colors. I swap it with the JDM P5M (no immobilizer) for everyday driving.

nope...no check engine light. Thats how I was able to pass the state ref in CA....however, my ref didn't do a physical check of what computer I was using. He just plugged in and made sure everything reads ok and that I didn't have a JDM engine. When I install the LX computer, I have to run the car for about a month so everything will check out when I smog. The smog computers don't see JDM computers. Thats how I was able to pass my 97 Accord (OBD2).
