two "how vtec works" videos

this might be a repost but i dont know... anyhow i found two "how vtec works" videos. are they both right but for different engines or is one of them false? one shows the valves opening at the same time (before vtec) and the other shows the valves opening one after the other.

That first video is friggin awsome. Sticky that bitch at the top of each forum for "how vtec works" it may cut down on some of those "can someone explain" threads.
