Default Replacing a Fender...

bought a fender off ebay and im taking it to an autobody shop to get it painted....just wondering if anyone knew any problems/tips they could let me know as far as taking the old one off (its dented pretty bad) and putting on the new one. my main concern is how to line it up to make it look flush with the other parts touching it.

Never did fenders before, but maybe take measurements of the gaps from the factory specs and apply them to the new one. And maybe take pix to help you locate and adjust.

I just bought the same fender off ebay for my girlfriends car and the dude that painted and installed it, said that it was a bit tweaked from shipping (which you could not tell until you put it on the car)...

Having it line up should not be a problem unless it's tweaked, because once you start torquing that thing down, it will have no choice but to go on straight.
