Default How do i lift my Honda?

I have a 1990 Civic Dx... what i need to know is how do i lift it?

i've searched and searched and cannot find a lift kit or any info on how to do a lift myself so any help is appreciated.

I heard if i get the springs from a 1990-1993 Integra it will fit the same but due to stiffer suspension will cause a decent lift.

Thanks.

Are you being serious, why do you want to lift it.. It already looks like a mall-crawler with the stock ef springs...

look around for some longer honda shocks, most honda stuff should be swappable you might need to use the front forks from that model though. There was a thread awhile back I think someone used accord shocks. Go to the koni website and you should be able to download or request the catalog that has all shock dimensions, just find something that mounts the same but is longer(obviously you will need longer springs as well)

I'm not trying to put rims on it, i'm trying to make it 4x4-esque. I already have 4 KC Daylighters on the roof and a Cowl-induction hood

looks like poop.. would look 100% better lifted.. minus the hood though.. maybe make a huge scoop with an air filter for true ram air intead of the cowl... looks kinda ugly.

Are you sure those are real KC daylighters?

Look like eBay or Wal-mart ones to me.

wow... interesting, to each his own... but still an idea.... those hoods suck ***!! my parts car (bigest mistake i bought that..) had one of those, and you could barely see infront of you... and imo it didnt do much more cooling as it did let water in when it rained or anything....
