Import Survival Series 1 @ Raceway Park 3/18/07
would a 1.8 ls/v in a gsr, with no back seats or back carpet qualify for the na class. car has door panels, front carpet, both front seats.. i really dont feel like getting smoked in the h class.

If that's not an engine that was available in that chassis/model from the factory, you'll have to run class H. A friend of mine met all the Class NA rules/regulations but had an engine swap and they moved him into H. He only had DOT's, didn't have slicks with him, so that was a double wammy.

If it is just one seat (back seat) removed and you are running on a DOT approved tire, you can run in Class NA.

yea but its still a integra motor with a whopping 1.8mm more stroke. i should of put a ls crank into a B18c1 block, same combo, different stamp on the block
if thats the case than u wont see me at any of these events, sucks.. wait i know ill just re stamp the block with b18c1 rather than b18a1, im in
some one could have some radical 2.0 liter that still says b18 on the block, so whats the difference..

should be ok for the NA class. any b series setup would be an original engine for an integra but for example a k series in the integra wouldnt. billy as i remember that issue with the gti. wasnt it an A2 chassis with a VR6?

Yes, it was an A2 GTI chassis with a VR6 swap in it, I honestly do not think he was aware of the rules/regs before bringing the car out to the track. It was that big of a deal, it's a swap, that just got overlooked I guess.
I wish there was a Survival Series later in the season, seems like all the good East Coast events are all earlier in the season, I just wont be ready.
I really like the Survival Series that E-town runs, I think that it would be an amazing regional points series if they ever wanted it to go that route.
