Mugen didn't make a header for the H23...only for the H22...

 

does any one know what the mugeun knock off header looks like, or if there is a mugeun knock off header>

well the real mugen header would have 2 logo plates welded onto it...first is the mugen badge/logo and other is the JASMA plate...like this one here...


if you have a mugen header and its in good condition, i'd say its worth ~$700 or so...thats if its complete and not just the top portion...

 

the one that I was looking at has a plate thats engraved with mugen power between the middle two pipes?

i've personally seen the real mugen h22 header for 5th gens. there are rare 4th gen ones

how much do full exhaust kits cost and when would you buy them

headers, b pipe, muffler. my car used to have the headers but the old owner took it off.

pretty much near nothing.......seriously. its a knockoff with no proven power gains and just makes the engine bay look prettier (which for a mugen knockoff, i guess it fits the bill)

obviously you need to do some research in the prelude faqs. they can cost from 0-infinity, just depends what you want.

i bought an h23 that came with the header, so ill have pictures up when I get home. is 400 for an auto h23 a good price to pay? do you think I could get 300 for the header?

 

Its a cheap ebay knockoff. It is not a name brand header. Who knows if it even gives any power gains. I say you might get less than $100 for it. I just hope you don't go ebay trying to sell it as a genuine mugen header.

No it won't fit an H22.

 

that looks well fake.

I used to have a Mugen header, the flange is different to that, its got a step where the primary is welded to it, and the Mugen plate is on the #3 branch and the Jasma plate is on the #2 branch.

+1 also the badge is not right, and no its not going to fit the H22, the ports are off
