Default Head Temp

Does anyone know, roughly, about how hot the area where the intake manifold attaches to the head gets on an F22? Just trying to get a ballpark idea here.

I'd say it will be in the area of 200-210 degrees, why ya gonna try to cook a pizza on it? LOL

I'm working on a JDM Chicken Rotisserrie for the negative space above the intake manifold!! Anyone want one?? LOL

Nah, I'm trying to make a thermal intake gasket for the F22B2 and was not successful on the first prototype. It melted in the oven after 10 minutes @ 350 degrees.

I've been researching like crazy and finally found out the materials that they are using (High-Temp Plastic-wise) and its' melting propties of over 400 degrees for sustained amounts of time and just need to cut a new one to try in the oven...

No one makes these for the F22 engines and I think it would be an awesome addition to this motor as it's tough to squeeze juice out from the point I'm at now.

But 210 is better than the 340 I had originally suspected. I saw a guage that went up to that number, so that's where I got 340 from.
