OK so I'm almost ready to put my B16 in, I was wondering if I could use my ZC altenator since it's brand new. It' looks like it would work and the one that came with the B16 has a bent pully . If anyone knows if this'll work, let me know. Thanks

i'm don't think it will cuz the ZC is a d-series component, while your motor is a b-series. when i replaced mine i used the alternator from a 91 integra and it works fine..

 

I need to replace my alt. here now and talking to people I found that my D series would not work on the B16A.

im using a b16a alternator on my sohc zc, look at the plug on the alternator mines had 4 prongs on it. check your motor and then check the alternator, if it matches itll work. but good luck finding a belt for it the pulleys are diff.

 

plugs are the same. I figure it'll work. I could probably change brakets if I have to.

 

I'm running my 88 crx alternator on my B18 - the upper bracket doesn't match up but it works
