is it true that the f22 has a cast iron block....im asking because a guy told me that it did and therefore would be good for turboing

 

I'm not sure if the whole block is cast iron, but the cly. walls are for sure..

I think the block is still aluminum like the rest of the blocks..

But yea, it's good for a cheap turbo build, or expensive one..

 

Yep, iron sleeves in the block. You can run forged pistons without sleeving.

 

hanks for the info ...im trying to finish high school so i can buy a jdm h22a and do a motor swap... i going strictly JDM look, i currently have a white lude with all black konig wheels lowering springs intake exhaust, my next step is the lip kit or carbon fiber hood

Buy functional parts and you'll be much happier in the long run. Not saying CF stuff is not functional, but a lot of JDM crap is pointless.

what does weight have to do with anything? and speaking of weight it weights 2620 w/o driver and 1/4 tank of gas. i dont really care about the weight, ill just turn up the boost.
