I have a 97 Accord LX and the driver's side low beam headlight burned out. I am trying to get the electrical connector off but it is not budging. I have tried lightly tapping on it with a hammer and it still won't budge. Any one have any tips? Thanks!

 

there really hard to twist. i don't know why.

i just usually broke the connector where the plug went in and then you could pop them out. but i have aftermarket lights now.

 

Sometimes the little release clip doesn't clear it's latch, when you are squeezing it. You might have to slide a small pick in from the top and be sure the 'catch' is clearing the latch.
WD-40 is okay to use as well.
