i just bought 98 4 door gsr im wondering is the idling shaking is normal for gsr ?? i test drove 3 4 door gsr all of em like that. and im wondering do i gotta change the thermostat because it goes down to Cold when its on the freeway and im back in local it when back to normal in the middle. he said its low temperature Mugen Power Thermostat help me please!

 

i have the same problems with my DA. i really would like to know whats wrong, my whole front end shakes at idle, and when im driving on highways my thermostat goes to cold.

i dont have a mugen thermostat. id really like to know wats up with this to fix it.

 

The thermostat need to be replaced it stuck open so coolant is run full bore through the radiatior as if the engine were hot. it very easy just buy a gasket and new thermostat ( under $20) fallow the upper radiator hose back to the engine and thats where your thermostat is at.
As for the shaking no idea mine does the same id imagen though mine does it cause there 250k on my engine and idils a little rough.
