Default RSX Seats in a '95 Civic

What would it take to do the swap? I saw that there was another topic on the swap into a teg, but would it work for a civ?

Thx!

MR.K20: do you have an estimate on how much shipping would be for both front seats to socal (91303)? Got any pics of the seats? Just wanna see the leather...you know how leather can get worn quite quickly. Thanks.

Oh, and does the price include rails? Thanks.

I am very interested in those seats. I would to first like to figure shipping costs to Phoenix, Az (zip = 85284) (hopefully they are not extremely expensive to ship). Drop me a line so that we can start to work it out. Either reply here or drop me an e-mail at: blueinsight1701@***.net. Thanks.

Not sure?I'll give you the rails too.Damn you got a insight?? you puttin them in there?? That would be cool as hell!!!I wanna see one w/ some rims on it!haha that would be nice!

Yep, they will be going in the Insight. The seats that are in there now are similar in design except without the sholder bolsters and they are fabric. They also do not have lumbar support, which makes them a little uncomfortable on long trips.

As far a shipping, use your best judgement and let me know. I want to keep the price down but I do not want them harmed. I used to work for a Volkswagen restoration shop and we would ship seats wraped together in the same box. Just put them face-to-face with plenty of padding.

As far as wheels on an Insight, check out this:

damn,..thats cool man,...check it out,.email me your info..esp. your phone # and ill call you to set it up!
More then likley,.I can shrink wrap them cuz I work @ LOWES and put them in a Refrigrator box,..and ta' da'.Shipping will be high on that I'm sure,..Big Box + kinda heavy,.so we'll figure that out later!

THANX

FYI: i used to work for a moving company (North American) and you really shouldn't shrink wrap right on leather cause leather has to be able to "breathe". It can harm the seats. Put a pad or sheet around the seats first and then shrink wrap them. That will protect them against drying out and cracking.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Hey MR. k20., your selling your seats to huh. ehhe im selling mine as well but I got the tan ones. Hey our stock seats are hella expensive. I called Bell acura the other day and they told me that they dont sell the seats together, you have to buy part by part ie. leather, airbag, foam etc.. and he told me I was looking at 2000.oo a seat if not more, so 9oo.oo is a good price. im selling mine for the same price. I dont know if the Bell acura parts guy was smoking crack or something but thats mad money. Well if any one is interested in buying rsx-s seats and rims let me know, and If you live in Arizona I''ll just take them to you or you can pick them up. either or all good to me. Well good luck.

I am in the Tempe area.

f1nal zeros, mr.k20 is asking $700 for his seats, not $900. I might be interested in your seats since you are local, let me know(sorry mr.k20). I was originally looking at the black ones because I thought that they would go better with my interior. How dark are the tan ones? In photos they almost look gray to me. I have a gray and black interior now and want something the complements it and doesn't look out of place.

Well, looks like that set of "titanium" leather seats on ebay went cheaper than expected.
