Has anyone tried replacing the trunk/hatch light? The bulb doesn't seem to want to come out of the housing. Does the entire lens need to be replaced or should I be able to get the bulb out?

just pull hard, it comes out. i replaced mine with a razo led. you may have to wiggle it a bit tho.

yeah, I replaced mine with an LED pannel I bought off ebay DIY style similar to this one:
