Id imagine get the camgears that are made by the manufacturers of the cams right? Seems to make the most sense 
get the ones that work the best regardless of mfg.

does weight of cam gears affect performance? some of the lightweight cam gears out on the market only have 3 bolts, which some say makes it more possible for slippage. Id say get some gears that have atleast 5 bolts or even 6. better safe than sorry.
