i saw the other thread with the bent intercooler fins. i think you a being a baby about it. its not going to affect the performance at all. at this point it is out of the sellers hands. it could be due to improper packaging or a half assed shipping company. but whatever... i still think you are being a baby about alittle spilled milk.

i agree with you, to me it looks like it got messed up in shipping... i wrote this on the other thread....

i think your just beeing a baby. u should contact the shipping company. i got a intercooler over the summer and it got bent a little in shipping, called UPS, they gave me the money back, got to keep the core.... got some plyers and a screwdriver and called it a day.... you cant even tell anymore.... well you can, but still. it should not effect the performance of it watsoever. you probably wont be able to tell once you have it places inside the bumper.

 

That's not entirely true. It's the sellers obligation to get it to your house in the shape that it was advertised in.

If you just ordered a $5000 plasma TV and it arrives cracked, do you say "oh, crap.. It's out of the seller's hands..."

The seller has to process a damage claim on it.. The buyer usually can't do anything about it without the partisipation of the seller. Maybe I'll ship you a shitload of broken parts and blame it on the shipper.. .that'll work.. .absolves me of any responsibility, right?

while i do agree that the seller should file a claim with the shipping company, i belive the damages are negligable @ the same time. + if you are dealing with a dead beat, there is no sence in wasting time over it, hell, life is alot more stressing, than a few bent fins.

 

Might want to remember that shipping companies won't cover damages at all in the event of poor packing (IE - the seller).

i have shipped with DHL ALOT and they have EXTREMELY cheap shipping quotes

however i have ran into problems with them in the past where i shipped a completely new blitz axleback and the buyer recieved it bent and i packaged it EXTREMELY good.

i also shipped a tiburon Axleback and too packaged it EXTREMELY good andthey recieved it bent.

basicly i think they have somewhat poor shipping service, however they keep the shipping cost down which keeps my buyers at arms length becasue i can charge 20.00 to ship a head instead of some peoples 50-150.00

other than the exhaust ive never had a real problem with them.

not as many problems as i have had with FEDEX or UPS.

i get where your coming from the item should have been in the same condition as it was when he sold it, and its totally not fair that he didnt package it good and whatnot

and to the ppl who said its out of the shippers hands not totally it was his he decided to sell it, he sold it in the condition he stated it was in, it arrived in a condition that was not to what he said.

its not only false advertisement,negligence packing,rude and inconsiderate that he stated he doesnt have time.

he sure as hell had time to take your money huh to the seller and sorry for dicks like that, they make HT a unsafe place to shop, but not all are bad
