Default need help with axle

i having trouble reinstalling my left axle (sitting from inside the car) i took it off w/ no prob now i cant get it back in. i know that you have to put in the inner part first and then the outer later but i cant seem to line up the ball joint stud w/ the control arm after i put the splined shaft into the hub. Is there some kind of trick or what cuz im freakin tired of trying put it in. heres a list the things i am working with
92 eg, b18c longblock, ls tranny, ls axles, and a broken spine.

Thanx to anyone who replies.

To let u know B-series axels are even length axels. D-series have the shorter and longer axels. Anways, So far i read what u did and... First put it in the tranny side then slip in the hub. Make sure ur little dingy at the bottom of the hub is out of ur lower control arm. Then slide the hub on the axle with grease. If that doesnt work. The key hole or teeth in the hub might be fucked up and u can take a triangle file and file the teeth all around. Don't file to much where you have no more teeth. Then try again. After u slip it on. Then put the dingy in the LCA, tighten the crown nut and slip in the pin through the crown nut.

What exactly is the problem? You cant get the axle into the hub or on the intermediate shaft?

What i do is put the axle on the intermediate shaft just hanging but enough where it wont fall, then i put the hub on and put a axle nut. Then i use the hub to pound in the axle for the intermediate. Sometime it wont want to go in so you have to rotate and giggle to get it on the tracks then smack it in.
