FS JDM H22A + tranny [tampa area]
motor is currently installed in car, you can test-drive it if seriously interested. it's a great motor and i'll miss it, but it's time to part ways.
JDM h22a, approximately 80k miles. i've owned and babied it for almost seven years. always mobil one, always at 2k miles. this month it got it's check-up and new timing and balance belts, as well as a new water pump. also had the head checked and new headgasket installed. have all the reciepts for the parts, and the work was done by Taylor at DurdanPerfab.
internals are stock. Accord Euro-R single runner intake manifold, mated to an Integra type-R throttle body. Stock H22a injectors, but checked by RC engineering 6 months ago (and still have the papers for the injectors' flow rates). EGR block off plate, Hondata gasket. speaking of hondata, the engine is run on a hondata stage two through a civic p28 ecu. fidanza 8 pound aluminum flywheel. old-school dc sports intake, K&N filter. greddy header. MSD blaster coil to a crane cams distributor.
i'm asking 2200 for the motor.
the transmission i built myself of entirely new gears, less than a year ago. ALL gears are new, ALL new synchros, ALL new bearings. i only reused the shafts, which i had checked for trueness. hell, i even replaced the clutch housing. Also has a brand-new quaife (of which the unlimited warranty would transfer to YOU). the tranny was checked by Neal Sutten before it was installed. the quaife itself was 900 dollars.
i'm asking 1800 for the tranny.
altogether you can have them both for 3500.
these might seem like very high prices. but tell me, can you test-drive the motor and tranny you'd buy from canada?
this shows the motor, with the manifold and T/B

here's the quaife

Would ya take any trades on the tranny??
What i have in my garage right now is a built H22a4.
the head has 3 angle valve job, port matched IM, port and polish, and the block is built for boost, low compression etc. have the receipt to show you. over 4k
the bad, while it was being broking into before boost, it spun a bearing.
I would give you the whole motor for that tranny. and seeing how you are very mechanically inclined you will get this motor back up and running in no time and save a BUNCH!
let me know, i need that tranny!
