im not sure if this is considered "tech" related, but some redneck(im not hating) got pissed at me and when i was following him he threw a glass bottle and busted the right bottom of my windsheild and i (obviously)need a new one, but we got the cops and he aggred to pay in full,(he also hit my light with an ice ball and busted that out) ....but sry about the story just wanted you to have some insight, anyway how much should i be looking to tell the cops for an estimate??

 

go get an estimate from a professional place maybe you can make some $$ of the deal somehow if the guy actually comes through...damn you must have really been up his ***

 

no he was ****** around in a parking lot (in a a caviler) and almost hit my car so im like WTF dude and his lil friend gets out and tried to fight me so im like "yea your cool" and he gets an ice ball and busts out the light and then dips out so i follow him and since it was snowing he got stuck on this hill and waited till i was rigt bhind him to throw the bottle...some ppl just have no respect for anything....but thx now i gotta find a auto glass place around here

 

windshields are going to vary in price from place to place, and location to location...

Call around, find the most expensive one, go get a written quote, show the cops. Get the money, take it and get it fixed at a lesser expensive place. Buy something sweet for yourself

i doubt he pays , he just old the cop that i bet so he wouldnt get in serious trouble. I would of took it out of his ***. Your more than likely going to wind up in small claims over it , i hate people like that.

 

Yeah I gotta broken windshield also, but its not from rednecks, its from a big mac truck, that threw a rock at me.....nothing I can do, but pay for it myself. Lucky I think they are inexpensive where I live, but that is still 100 plus outta my own pocket, that could go into something else for my gsr.

well we got all of his information and if he doesnt pay within 2 months then we will take further action but the cop did promise me i would be paid back in full, the funny thing is i followed hiim to his house and he called the cops thinkin they would get me off there property but instead he just got him self into loosing a couple hundred....fine with me
