Huge paint chip
So I was on the road in -60 and hit a gaurd rail. Previously I had hit a snow/ice bank and destroyed my rear bumper. So instead of hitting my bumper, it tore open my trunk and took a plate size chip out of my rear corner pannel. Instead of chipping down to the primer, it chipped through both factory and the primer i laid down, making a couple millameter difference in height. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the problem? Should I sand blast it even or what?
drive more carefully, and don't fix it so it will serve as a reminder to not wreck it... no, not really. sand the edge and reprime. then sand again untill it's smooth.
you may get better responce in the cosmetic forum, though.
