Default Rebuilding my Haro bmx.. Pictures inside!

I decided to work on the bmx, yeah i am bored and the weather is bad lately... i thought i like to share it with you and interesting thread too. ok i am goin to start beginning to end and still processing now...

My bmx's frame is haro shredder... its an expensive cost.

DAY 1

Before i take parts out.



Bought stuff from autozone. left to right (Primer, Black Paint, Spun Green Mixed Grey Paint, and Sandpapers)


The parts out. hahah naked!


Umm random pic and found it in my den room.. hahah..

DAY 2

THE WHEELS

DAY 3

I did wetsand the frame and time to paint!

T501 Spruce Green Color Code If you wanted to know.


I Always to paint it real light let it dry fast... 5mins later and do it again and again! like this... Just give you a good hints.



VOILA! ISNT IT HOTT! and i will paint the black gloss on the handle and the frame holder the front wheel... probably done it tomorrow.. i have go to work soon!

haha..ya ten years ago all bikes now days are built to be very light!!! if ur bike is 27 pounds or more it is considered heavy

heck yeah good luck with the paint make sure you do it right its better then having it look bad in the end.. like all other things!

bike riding is fun.. i just got a new frame!

also snapped a pic today!

why my frame is heavy as hell and there solid for a reason all the parts on the bike are solid from the 3 peice cranks to the alex triple wall 48s but anyway dont they sell haros at wallmart

**** i weigth my brakeless butcher and it was like 28lbs, i want a new frame, but i dont have ANY money

Old- had it for about 10 years
Heavy- somewhere inbetween 35-40lbs.
Short- 18inch top tube

getting a new paint job this summer....

you need some balllin bmx parts like 25 tooth sprocket,cassette hub and euro bottom bracket frame..bump for bmx man!
