what is the best oil available for VTI engines?

Default what is the best oil available for VTI engines?

Hi does anyone know what the best oil to use for VTEC engines i.e. Synthetic/Semi Synthetic and to what ratio 10/40 or 15/40 etc

Also what is the best type to use Castrol GTX Magnetec?

if your doing a swap, but dont know what kinda oil to use, leave it up to the pros, royal purple is the best

ya regualr 5w30

p.s. synthetic blends are for fools.

i use full synthic in the winter (whatever is cheapest at walmart) and normal 5 30 in the summer

I've been wanting to try that oil. I have used Mobil 1 Since my EK. Loved the results, but yeah i think im gonna give it a try.

i use 5w30 mobil 1...haven't tried royal purple but as you can see alot of people prefer it.

once u hit syn, you probably dont wanna switch back and forth....i can get royal for $6 so why not? you only have to fishout that money every 3 months.

I have over a hundred thousand miles, about half of it with 5 quart jugs of SuperTech 5/30 from WalMart! About 13.oo for a 5 quart jug, now that is pimp ****.

Don't want to burst anybody's bubble but there was a test done and it was posted on HT and Royal Purple did the worst out of all the full syntectics. Also its not the first time I read this.

I use 5w40 Motul. If I wouldn't use Motul I would use Amsoil which is the best but I can't get any around my area!

thats what i use. oil is pretty much oil. as long as its the right wieght, and ASPI certified or whatever its good enough as long as you change it regularly. supertech synthetic = $13 =
