What kind of power are putting down? It doesnt seem worth it if you cant put it down to the ground. If you cant get traction in 6th gear (which is a little hard to believe) then some extra sticky tires wont make a huge difference.

and i just noticed my clutch was slipping yesterday. at first my clutch pedal was engaging later than normal and then i noticed the revs were climbing when i wasnt spinning. so i guess my next mod will be a new clutch instead of tires. yay! what sucks is i installed the kit myself but ive never done a clutch before so i will probably have to take it to the dealer and they will charge $500 on top of the price of a new clutch.

yeah if you take some time to look around...you'll find cheaper...and in the end it'll be worth the wait.

So your telling me that while normal driving, in 6th gear, you can depress the gas pedal fully and will have no traction? I understand being able to shift through gears while losing traction. Its one thing to have no traction while sitting and "peeling" out, its another to loose traction whenever you step on the gas.

Also, the 615's will make a difference, but dont expect miracles.

yea i mean i wasnt starting in 6th gear. i meant when i shift through gears. like if i start in 3rd gear and punch it, the tires will beak loose and rpms will shoot to 8500, shift to 4th, same thing shift to 5th, same thing
also some of this may be due to the clutch that i didnt notice was going out until yesterday

Ic ic....that makes a hell of alot more sense to me now. I definately wasnt calling you out by any means, but after seeing my friends 475whp GSR drive etc, and him not really breaking tires loose to hard in 5th I was calling BS.

But after your explanation now I gotcha.

The exhaust tone is sick!
