big story short, got into accident, had to pull off whole front end, now i put everything back together and on the last part, the hood, got a cf hood, all other parts line up great, but the hood fits but doesnt latch down, i need the hood to sit at the level of when you first release the hood, when i go to put the hood down to click it into the latch it sits right on top of my headlights and still doesnt seem to click in for some reason, i moved the latch up as far as it would go, still nothing, fresh out of ideas

are you sure that the latch isnt broken? if you were in an accident, its very possible that the locking spring came off the latch. If the latch is new, make sure that the hook on the hood is aligned with the slot in the latch...if all else fails, Hood pins FTW!

its the old latch, but everything works on the latch itself, ill post some pics in a few mins to try and explain a little more

and thats what its supposed to be, have to press down on it but sits below the fenders and still doesnt latch, only gets about half way into it

 

so, the latch is sitting too low. you said that its as high as it can go, well your gonna have to straighten the rad support, or fab up some brackets to raise the latch. It looks like your rad support is all fucked because the lights and bumper fir like ****. seems like you still have lots of work to do

 

actually the lights are in fine, good gaps all around the fender, and the bumper well its just screwed lol, new one on the way
