i have a obd2 alternator with a obd1 wiring harnes so i got a obd2 alternator plug...im gonna cut and splice the obd2 plug to the obd1 harness.... two wires are the same color but the other two are differnt...im left with a green and white and red and white from the obd2 alternator plug.....and there is a blue.... and yellow and white coming from the obd1 harness so should i hook the green in white from the obd2 plug to the blue wire or the yellow and white from the obd1 harness

Your link looks to be for a distributor, not an alternator.

OBD1:
C: Wht/Yel
FR: Blu
IG: Blk/Yel
L: Wht/Blu

OBD2:
C: Wht/Grn
FR: Wht/Red
IG: Blk/Yel
L: Wht/Blu

 

Well in the link I posted, under the Dissy wiring diagram it showed this...
