As of now, I have a '94 civic with the D16Z6... this summer I plan on swapping to an H22 and installing Skunk2 stage II camshafts (with an upgraded valve train)... my question is: can you install camshafts/valvetrain without pulling the engine? If you have to pull the engine, I'll buy everything at once and put the cams in before I put the engine in, but I'd rather not spend all that money at once... the H22 swap will be expensive enough...

 

You can install cams and valvetrain without removing the head from the block.
