The Veyron really is an amazing car. I would love to get the chance to drive one, but that probably wont ever happen!

F1 cars are limited by the insane amount of downforce/drag. gearing plays a huge role in top speed as well.

Given unlimited time to adjust gearing and downforce levels, it would be impossible for the Veyron to beat an F1 car in top speed. Honda's F1 car recorded that speed in one mile whereas the Ehra-Lessien track where the Veyron Reached its speed has a straight that is over 5 miles long. Some pundits have guessed the old V10 powered F1 cars could reach a theoretical top speed of over 300mph.

I cannot believe some of you are seriously arguing both sides......... just watch the video and enjoy it. No need to pucker up your asses about who is faster than who

No straight line speed can give you the thrill a formula car can!
Think about the lateral G`s
Anyway, the Veyron is an amazing, but unfortunately also a little bit to heavy, car!

Its still slower then a Corvette. 4 turbos my ***, Callaway only needed 2 turbos and a V8 to top at 254.76 MPH. This was done in 1988 in a C4 body Corvette that was built buy the man Reeves Callaway. It made 880HP and price tage today at $400k.

Company producing car all in house, tuning in house, producing 300 of said car that goes that fast.
