Default redrilled rotors on track

Just wanting to know if anyone runs redrilled rotors on the track, when i say redrilled i mean to a different stud pattern, ie 4x100 from 5x114.3 etc.

hi.

i've been running them since 1999 on my HC racecar. probably been thru 35-40 sets. never a problem.

its fine to use them; just be sure to use a good jig to drill them, and you will be good to go!!!!

I would run a 4 lug conversion, before running 5 to 4 lug.

Those with 4 lug cars and ITR brakes use redrilled prelude VTEC rotors.

I do not have my new setup installed, but these will be the rotors I use.

no problem, some redrill combos do cause the holes to overlap though... make sure that isn't the case. Otherwise you're fine.

if you use the prelude vtec rotors you wont have any overlap issues. just use the 4x114 holes to secure the new rotor to a predrilled rotor. then dril away.

I have the 11" rotors all the way around my Civic. They're redrilled to 4x100 and two of them have an overlapping hole. I can't remember if those were in the front or the back though. My memory makes me believe it was in the back. Either way, is that really a concern? Because I'm not worried about that.

I have the redrilled rotors on my CRX, DrDisco69 has them on his CRX, Kevin Helms runs the redrilled rotors on his H1 car. No issues and in fact I have a picture of Todd Reid's redrilled rotors glowing at CMP. Very cool picture.

im ok with the idea of 4x114.3 redrilled to 4x100 because the holes can be drilled wihtout overlapping with any original holes.

My main concern is the 5x114.3 being redillred to 4x100, where there is partial overlap, just looks as if the hole is enlarged, ok im sure you have 4 that are supporting the other lug nuts but im just apprehensive.
