hey guys i have SI seats in my 90-91 crx but a customer wants to know if they will fit in his 89 crx? also will the headlights fit on his 89 crx? thanks.

 

no they won't...the only way the headlights will fit is if you replace the fenders to 90-91 and I don't think its worth it. As far as the seats....im not sure but I don't think they fit either. Hope this helps

 

i dont think the seats will different rails...also the headlights i think are transferable...just not corner "screws on inside" and bumperlights "wraparound vs. on front"

Yes, the seats will fit NO PROBLEM.
(FYI: All 89-91 use the same rails, EXCEPT the HF, 88's have different rails)

Headlights: they'll fit no problem BUT you MAY need the mounting brackets.
The corner lights arent a problem so long as you have 89-91 corners to mount to the headlights, cause they do use the inner mounting corners, not the ones held in by outer screws.
I have no idea where this BS about fenders came from..... If that were the case, then why do I have JDM headlights on my 88 SI with the stock fenders?

so in short, yes they'll both fit, but you may need the headlight brackets and new corners.

no prob man, you should get on here and post whether or not you needed the brackets, for future searchers and whatnot who might need to know.
I'm pretty sure you dont need them, but not 100%
