I'm converting my LS motor to an LS/Vtec and was told that I need to change my ECU from a PR4 to a PWO or PR3. I'm currently running an LS motor non obd, using 91 integra distributor...Local shop is selling me a 1992 PR3 ECU as suppose to a 91 that I think I need. Will this work or is there a difference.

 

any OBD0 or OBD1 B16 computer will work. i get confused on all the PR codes, so keep asking. thanks

A 1992 PR3 will not work with with your pre-1992 electronics. Like the PR4, the 1992-1993 PR3 is a gray-plug ECU and will not work with what you have.
