What kind of power would someone need to kill a Lotus in a Drag race?

What type of handling components would one need to out drive a lotus with a honda? is it even possible, given both drivers have similar driving techniques?

Could a honda beat a lotus in auto-X, how often does this happen?

I've test driven an Elise (sport, 2006) and I wasn't overly impressed. Completely impractical for anyone over 5 foot 6 inches as you'll be taking up 70% of the cabin

Still. You might be able to outrun it in a built Honda, but there's no modification you can make to a Civic that's going to drop half as many panties.
