Civic Roll cage & paint
Just finished it up this weekend. Had the roll cage built by Aki @ Blacktrax in Milpitas, CA. Then had it painted light gray @ Campbell Auto Restoration by Mark Schwartz.
Now the rush is to get it back together for the NASA Thunderhill event March 10-11th.
Here are some pics before & after paint.

We made an aluminum piece to fill the sunroof hole. It will be held on by some small L-brackets on the inside.
The old sunroof was 32lbs, the new piece is only 7lbs.

EDIT: i see you are a HC driver. I'm a NASA tech inspector for the Mid Atlantic region... PM please, you might run into some issues with your cage and I'd like to make you aware of it.

after reading the rules the cage is legal
which is good... I'd offer up some suggestions to anyone thinking about building a RR cage in the future. so you guys can hit me up on PM. one day i might make a list and gather all the pics that would show how i would have it done.
though .RJ's car we talked about for a while and he had it done pretty damn close.
