Default Power to manual window conversion?

I did a search and found a lot of manual to power conversions but can it go the other way? Can I convert my power window to manual?

Of course.

If you have a '96-'98 I might be interested in your power window parts too.

I say it's even easier going the other way, you don't have to mess with wiring, other then the speaker wires.

If there is any wiring he could remove though, he might be able to sell his power door parts for a bit.

My plan was to take out all the guts from my manual crank window door and put it into the power door. I would swap them out completely.

Since I havent started yet, I was wondering if I could even swap them out. I havent heard of people doing it, but you guys say it's possible? Like, the manual stuff will swap over fine?

Should be fine. Power and manual door shells are the same (On ek's) You just use different bolts. Why are you doing this?

I am doing this on an EG.

The door right now has a really bad repaint and is a different shade then the rest of the car. The clear coat and paint are chipping off. So basically I have a perfect car with a nasty repainted door. So I got a perfect door last night and am going to swap out the guts and put it on. The thing is it's a power door that I am going to put on my manual crank window car. So I wasnt sure on if the manual guts would swap onto the power door shell.

So good news.

I took a look at the power window door and turns out the power stuff was a conversion. So all I had to do was take all that crap out and ta-da! manual window!

Explain? What parts were back there? I can think of the manual crank... but that would stick through the power door.

I'm saying that the door i bought was a manual door afterall, it's just that someone converted it to power. So when I opened it up, it was easy to uninstall the janky cheap power window conversion moror and brackets and stuff. That's what I', saying.
