Default ughh clutch problem...

Earlier today coming home on the highway I decided to toy around with the R for a little bit.I revmatched whenever I have to slow down.Few hours later while driving normally the car wont go into 4th gear.I didnt forced it in instead i just shift it into 5th.Few lights later the clutch acted up again and wont released when trying to shift so I stop at the next gas station and seeing if the brake/clutch fluid was full and it was.Checking my tranny for leaks and couldnt see any. While the car was off i tried to shift into gears but it wont engage and when it did it wont released.Waited there for 10minutes and start up the car again and it was back to normal.Drove home without any problem. It seems like it is on/off and just happened every other time i shifts.Searched and find out that it could be the slave/master cylinder.Anyone have any clues to what is going on?...

try bleeding out your line first, see if it's jammed full of bubbles, it's free and easy to at least give it a shot.

I've had the same thing happen to me before... I've never saw a fluid loss anywhere around the firewall or wherever I parked but for one reason or another it happened..... same issues too, exact issues... so all i did was just crack my bleeder screw and had my friend hit my clutch and just watched all the air come out.... After that it was fine, and this was months ago...

Sounds to me like what happened to me.
One of the springs broke out of the clutch and jamms **** up. It frees itself up and works normal every now and then but jams up again and doesnt let it release etc.

Fingers crossed it isnt

Bleed out the clutch and took it out for a cruise.Everything seems normal till on the way home it wont let me into 4th gear.Put it back in neutral and tried again and it still wont let me.Upshifted in 5th gear and downshifted once again to 4th gear and it let me in....could it be the springs/syncros?

car currently have 98k miles and dont know if the previous owners had change the clutch out or not but i doubt its the clutch. It just happened last night all of a sudden. The car is driving fine right now and once a while it wont go into 4th gear .Is it time to change the slave cylinder or master cylinder?

don't confuse the two.... did you try bleeding the line yet?, make sure you have plenty of fluid in also, crack your screw and have somebody hit your clutch pedal and hold down, if it blasts a good amount of fluid then tighten it back up and have them release the pedal. Just don't let off the pedal with the bleeder screw open, that's the only thing to remember... if you're pumping fluid then your slave is fine... the next thing to look at is actual clutch replacement, I think it's a fluid issue since it's a sporadic issue.

yeah this should be easy to diagnose - follow the advice everyone has given to diagnose and resolve a fluid issue. if the fixes the problem you're fine, if the problem continues to recur the next step is to try replacing the clutch. Like someone said, you may find a broken clutch spring to be the culprit...

bleed the clutch earlier this morning and it only happened once when shifting to 4th gear. The whole day today it seems fine, but my clutch does seem a little soft but could be a lil stiffer.Im probably gonna bleed it out some more tomorrow after work..Hope this is the problem and thanks for the advice.

how did the fluid look when it was coming out... it should be almost silent if there is no air in the system, if it's making that spitting sound then keep going till it's solid fluid.

Also becareful with that DOT3 around any surfaces with paint, it will strip it with a quickness.
