Default After Market 5th gen Headlights !!!

Clear housing Projectors

Black housing Projectors

I dunno... I am not too excited about these ones in particular. I still think they are over priced. However at least now there is some after market choice for headlights. Someone buy these and take pics so we can see how they look. I hope this is a beginning of some more after market support.

I like the black house model, but I think they may be a bit over priced. Like you I hope that this is the beginning of the market for them.

I was wondering about the high beams as well. Not sure what to make of that. Around here they are almost required it gets so dark. I'll keep an eye on them, I may decide to get them and give them a try.

I already posted this in this forum but it got moved to cosmetic so I'm guessing this will likely get deleted.

Agreed. There isn't a reason to change 5th gen OEM headlights out IMO... however, its required to rid a 4th gen of the two piece headlights.

JDMWHR WTF

why CHEAP yourself when a retrofit (PROPER ONE) is only a few hundred more

I bet that its a halogen Projector and you are going to be royally screwed when your output is worse than your stock Headlamps.....and to top it off I think its a sealed halogen so you cant even swap the bulbs

While I like my OEM ones the way they are, they are scratched and going yellow (I have to polish them each year).

Some people's are much worse than mine, and these while still expensive, are much cheaper than OEM.

You know after looking at these for a while they don't look all that bad, they look much more "current" in my opinion. Go take a look around at all the new sport coupes out and most of them have lights looking similar to this. Had the housing not had the led lights they would've been cleaner looking though. Had the 5th gen bodystyle been released this year I bet it would've ended up with a very similar looking headlight housing.

I will whip up a photoshop for ***** and giggles tomorrow.

Heres a link to another one that I got off of PP. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1
Its a better picture of the headlights. I dont think they are as nice as some of the retrofits I have seen done. However, they are not that bad. If I had the moneyz for some and needed some quick OEM replacments, I would def buy these.

If anyone on the boards is really considering buying these things, would you ship one to me just so I can take a look at it? Of course I'll ship it right back to you. I would just like to see how these lights were made and what HID projector will fit. I'd only have it for a day or two

Heres a quick one I did also... not as good as the above one. The angle is wrong with the pic that I used thats why the headlights look like they are pointing down and inwards
