White on White on White in Snow Integra Photoshoot
Buddy is sellin his Teg, so I told him I would take it up for a quick photoshoot to get some clean pics for the "For Sale" ad...what do you guys think?

Comments like "Not feelin the clear markers" or "White Motegis are so played out" don't really help much, since its not my car and its not really his car anymore either...jus lookin for shot composition comments and such

now wheels cut in the snow with FS sign blazing...
but i'm just a douchebag NY'er
and thats how i feel

Im sorry, but I just cannot respect comments like this. I can respect Type X, because he gave a brief analysis of his reasoning, and was fairly kind about it...but why would come on here and say something like that, besides just to further ***** your post count?
Type x...
I assure you this is not in any way, shape or form a FS Thread. I jus snapped some shots, thought they came out nice, and thought I would share/gather creative criticism

Thanks! Ya, the car isnt exactly the path I would of pursued, but I dunno about "pretty awful." At any rate, the photos only goal was to glorify the car so he could have some clean shots to load onto autotrader or cars.com or craigslist or w/e

Agreed. But I would say they fit his "white out" goal fairly well

The problem was that a longer exposure time was flooding the foreground with light from the sky, and a shorter exposure left the foreground fairly in the dark. I didnt have the right set up to do some HDR-age, so I went with a flash for the foreground, and shorter exposure for the background...it came out alright
Thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate em! Any critique on the location, composition, perspective? This is where I would really like to learn from you guys

Im not a photographer but personally i dislike the look of the tire tracks in the snow, especially the one with the mud and snow in the tracks. If you had pulled it into fresh patch of untouched snow or covered the traks with snow again it would look a bit better (like it is one with the snow. lol). Also, the photos might look good in black and white sense it is basically that anyway. Finally, for pictures taken for selling purposes, i wouldnt have taken them in the snow. I would have found a clean area like a parking lot that was plowed or something like that or waited till the snow melted. To some buyers its just not visually pleasing to see a car that they are considering buying in snow. Great for a photoshoot but not for resale value. all in all tho, good job.
And as for the car
i would buy it. I dont' get why people say it looks bad. At least it doesn't have a nasty @$$ body kit on it, or altezza tails. If i where to buy it i would get some oem amber bumper lenses and maybe paint the wheels. cheap fix. And ride hight is good, especially if you are driving in snow.

The patch was fresh, but I took a lot of shots and moved it around a lot...plus it was kind of a crunch for time. He told me Thursday the car would be leaving UT on Saturday morning, so we cleaned it up Thurs night, took it out Friday for a shoot, and its already in OR right now
I agree tho, i would have much rather had some clean, dry pics...but I also think the snow is something different
Thanks again for the comments guys! Oh, except for this guy
