Default Heat or no heat

Is it worth removing the air vent system/climate conrtols/etc to fiberglass a new dash, or would you keep the comfort on colder day and work it into the new dash?

for reference, my car will not be a daily, i have the van for that atm.

lol like i said, it wont be a dd at all. i plan on garaging it in winters since it will mainly be an av vehicle. and yes it does get decently cold, but last winter at this time i was in a body dropped and bagged s10 with no heat and none of the firewall holes filled >.<
